Yes - I have already put a stop to many of the newf's ideas including 1) a gift-wrapping room "LIKE CANDY SPELLING!", 2) a sci-fi room "pew-pew-pew!", 3) an ironing room because newf = grannie.
As you may have guessed, our window-shopping skills leave a lot to be desired. We came home with the chair and couch that you see at the top of the post...

Why not a sitting room? A comfortable place to read a book while you sip on a martini. Or you could always do a home gym or possilby an archade/game room if you're into that sort of thing.
I've always wanted a really zen yoga room.
Unfortunately mine is an ironing room.

Mike: I think we'd have to very carefully think that one out. a) We end up with ANOTHER room to relax which I suppose you can never have to many of...b) Or if we go the martini room route, I will be found in that room in a pool of my own sick and it's very likely that my mom will never leave.
Tipp: I am neither zen nor a person who does yoga but it'd be nice to pretend! An exercise room could work if I didn't hate it so much.

Leigh: Extra room is in addition to a planned office/library...maybe you'll get your own room after all.
Forgot to mention that the newf really pulled through and came up with a great concept for our dining room! Just when you think you have someone figured out...
