Calvin Cam update

It was just one of those weekends where Calvin gave me many reasons to videotape his various insanities. Since putting on weight (well...one pound over the past two months) he's starting to come into his own and act like a real, live dog. He'll go for walks, he'll chew things, he'll play with toys (and slippers and socks and underwear and bathroom mats...), and most of all, he won't shiver with his ribs sticking out to make us feel bad anymore.

Here are some of the adventures of the weekend. Sadly missing is the moment at Kimberly's house when she got to witness the pup hurling himself down the stairs for no reason. You never forget your first time. As always, the Calvin Cam line-up is available in the sidebar or by clicking here.

I found your comment about dachshunds on Dooce and I have to say, watching the first few moments of that first video made me laugh. I have a dachshund of my own, and that pose could not be more "her." There are some things I think all dachsies do.

Oh my god. Calvin is killing me softly with his teeny tiny feet. I imagine his "throwing himself down the stairs" trick is epic. How do you get anything done??

Rachael, I'm so glad you stopped by! I think dashchund owners know how much we all need to stick together :)

Rose, don't let the blog post frequency fool you...I actually get very little done during the daytime. I ration out my puppy time otherwise my excitement could elevate to the point of wanting to take bites out of his ears and toes.
